I have spent ages with RF filters to no avail - there are several bands that I cannot operate at more than 20W without killing the PC interface. Trouble is that the USB port on a 7300 is very fragile - it will shut down on a hint of RF. These days, I'm running an ICOM IC-7300 - built-in USB CAT and audio, so it should just be a case of plugging the rig to a USB port on my PC.
